The organisers of the AAPG 2010 conference in New Orleans, USA, have made all the presentations given at the conference available as online videos. Click here to watch GeoS4 co-founder Brian Horsfield present the talk "Shale Gas in the Posidonia Shale, Hills Area, Germany".
March 21st, 2010: Gulf of Mexico PhaseFinder
In collaboration with Dan Jarvie (Worldwide Geochemistry Inc) we are offering a Gulf of Mexico PhaseFinder Package – compositional kinetics for GOM source rocks with PVT prediction capability.
Stay tuned for developments!
March 20th, 2010: Gas shale research initiatives
For the latest news on European gas shales (GASH) go to www.gas-shales.org.
Furthermore, a new initiative aimed at uncovering the shale gas resource potential of the Karoo Basin was recently launched: GASHsa (Gas Shales South Africa).
March 20th, 2010: Conference and workshop announcements
We are presenting shale gas topics at the AAPG Annual Convention, New Orleans, April 11th through 14th, 2010.
We are also presenting a talk entitled "Shale gas in Europe's energy mix: research directions, tools and developments" at SPE Krakow (17-20 May).
Check the GeoS4 Calendar for abstracts of our tasks and details on our upcoming appearances.
November 15th, 2009: New PhaseFinder Package North Atlantic
Up to now our compositional kinetics petroleum generation models for four areas in the North Atlantic have only been available as individual PhaseFinder Packages. In direct response to customer demand we have now introduced the PhaseFinder North Atlantic Package. This option allows you to mix and match, making a customised selection from our database of 24 source rocks to suit individual needs. The more samples you select the more money you save. Get in touch and we'll be pleased to provide a quote.
