GEOS4 at Unconventionals Conference in Abu Dhabi
The conference "Unconventional Fossil Fuels: The Next Hydrocarbon Revolution?" will address, among others, implications of unconventional fuels for the oil-producing countries of the Arabian Gulf. This is timely, because when it comes to unconventional resource plays Middle East is a frontier exploration area. Governments are gearing up to unlock these resources.
GEOS4 co-founder Brian Horsfield will present "On the Potential for Unconventional Fuel Development in the Arabian Gulf", where he highlights a huge potential and the challenges to be met to produce unconventionals in a sustainable way.
Fitting into this context, GEOS4 will soon release a regional data package with calibrated PhaseKinetics models for Silurian source rocks of the Middle East-North Africa (MENA) region. Check out the source rock list and package contents here.
The Annual Energy Conference 19 "Unconventional Fossil Fuels: The Next Hydrocarbon Revolution?", organized by UAE´s Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research (ECSSR), will be held in Abu Dhabi, UAE, during September 29-30, 2013.
