Brian Horsfield reelected Europe Region Delegate to the AAPG House of Delegates
Brian Horsfield, CEO of GEOS4, has been reelected as Europe Region Delegate to the AAPG House of Delegates (HoD). During his second term as member of the HoD, Brian will be pleased helping to keep AAPG a relevant, useful and energetic association.
The House of Delegates of the AAPG is made up of delegates from affiliated societies and international regions throughout the world. They are selected by popular vote from within their respective areas and serve a three year term.
Duties of the delegates include:
Informing the leaders of their society or region regarding the Association's program of activities, especially as it relates to cooperative participation and service.
Regularly review online list of applicants who have applied to join (or reinstate) as a Member of the Association; name are viewable for sixty-days.
Serving as local Certification committeemen by processing requests from the Board of Certification for information regarding applicants for Certification by the Association.
Actively soliciting applications from eligible geoscientists for membership in this Association.
